About your posts

  • Contributions must be civil, tasteful and relevant
  • Do not post messages that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented or racially offensive
  • Do not swear or use other words that might cause offence
  • Do not make comments that might damage the reputation of a person or organisation
  • Do not post content that you’ve copied from someone else and for which you don’t own the copyright
  • No advertising, promotion of products or services, or posting of web links (URLs)
  • Do not impersonate someone else
  • No spamming or off-topic material: please don’t submit the same or very similar contribution more than once or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas

Using your posts

  • From time to time we may wish to use content that you have posted. We will always try to obtain your permission before we do so.

Safety

  • Never post personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example telephone number, home address).

About the law

  • You may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in Leading Edge forums. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
  • Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
  • You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise or infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright, trademark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.

If you breach these house rules

If you fail to abide by these forum rules you will be sent an email which informs you why your contribution has been failed or edited. This email will also include a warning that continuing to break the house rules may result in action being taken against you.

This action may include your membership being temporarily or permanently suspended.

We reserve the right to delete any posting, at any time, for any reason, and are under no obligation to publish any contribution submitted.

Be aware that in exceptional circumstances IGD could be legally obliged to reveal your registration information and/or IP address to the authorities.
