In today’s world understanding the sustainability of the total supply chain for your products is becoming more important. An unsustainable chain is by its nature, not a good business model.
We need to look at the global supply chain to quantify the robustness, fairness, environmental and economic impact of the food and grocery products we make, process, transport and sell. Factors such as carbon intensity, water scarcity, wasted product, packaging and ethics of trade are all important factors to consider and incorporate to successfully deliver a sustainable supply chain.
This master class is an excellent opportunity to appreciate the key elements of sustainability and understand how they might apply to your business.
By the end of the master class you will come out knowing what the future could hold and how you can influence certain factors to improve the sustainability of the supply chains around you.
